Derby County youngster Jayden Bogle is reportedly closing in on an eight-figure move to the Premier League.

According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (2/6; page 59), Derby full-back Jayden Bogle is closing in on a £10 million move to Brighton this summer, with the Rams potentially taking Christian Walton on loan as part of the deal.
Bogle enjoyed an outstanding first year in the Rams first-team. The 18-year-old made 50 appearances in all competitions for Frank Lampard’s men as they went all the way to the play-off final before losing 2-1 against Aston Villa.
But while Derby are facing another year in the Championship, Bogle could be heading to the top flight. The Sun on Sunday (2/6; page 59) reports that Graham Potter is closing in on bringing the right-back to the Amex Stadium, with the Seagulls set to pay the eight-figure fee for the teenager.
The report adds that goalkeeper Walton could head to Pride Park on loan to sweeten the deal with Lampard keen on the stopper.

It would be a big setback for Derby to lose Bogle, who contributed nine assists in the Championship this past season as well as scoring two goals for the promotion contenders.
Walton’s arrival may soften the blow somewhat after Kelle Roos’ mistake in the play-off final. But replacing Bogle is not going to be an easy task if he is indeed nearing the Pride Park exit.
