The offer is described as ‘substantial’ as Nigel Pearson looks to add to his attacking positions before the transfer window shuts.

The Czech Republic international was named the Championship Player of the Year in the 2012-13 season after a fantastic debut campaign with Watford.
However, he has struggled to hit those heights again, with loan spells at West Brom and Reading less than fruitful, and is now facing a season on the sidelines if he remains at Watford – with Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney well ahead of him in the hunt for first-team football.

Derby are looking to fight for promotion this season but have so far looked to be lacking firepower. They have managed just three goals in six games and the hope is that Vydra, a proven goalscorer at this level, can be a hit in the Championship once again.
Derby County currently sit in 16th place in the Championship ahead of their clash with local rivals Burton Albion tomorrow night.
