The Rams are reportedly preparing themselves in case Frank Lampard leaves Pride Park.

Derby County have opted to seek out another young British coach for their first-team manager’s job in case Frank Lampard leaves Pride Park, according to the Daily Mail.
Former Birmingham City boss Garry Monk, former West Bromwich Albion manager Darren Moore and Aberdeen coach Derek McInnes are believed to be three names under consideration, as is Queens Park Rangers assistant manager John Eustace.
Derby were subject to an approach for Lampard this week from Chelsea, the club where he rose to legendary status as a player, and have allowed him to speak with his former side in a deal which would see them reportedly earn £4million in compensation – with The Sun claiming the Blues have got their man.
Rams owner Mel Morris gave Lampard his managerial bow and the retired England midfielder impressed in his debut season in the dugout, leading the East Midlands club to the Championship playoff final and also registering some good wins in the cups.

Both Monk and Moore were generally well regarded among the fanbases at Birmingham and West Brom, and their departures both led to some criticism, the former having steered the Blues to safety during a tricky season and the latter keeping the Baggies in the promotion hunt following relegation.
Meanwhile, McInnes has been at Aberdeen since 2013 and previously turned down an approach by Rangers back in 2017 (The Telegraph), while Eustace, who has been at QPR since moving from Kidderminster Harriers last summer, is a former Derby player.
