Derby County have knocked back two bids from Premier League new boys Burnley for midfielder Jeff Hendrick, reports the Daily Mail.
Hendrick was one of the Republic of Ireland’s star performers at Euro 2016, and the report lists fellow promoted side Hull City as another of his many admirers.

Top flight sides Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion, Bournemouth and Watford were all credited with an interest in the 24-year-old last month, along with recently relegated Newcastle United (HITC sources).
Burnley are the only reported bidders so far, however, though according to The Telegraph their latest offer – said to total £3 million – was deemed “embarrassing” by Derby.

Hendrick, who moved to the iPro Stadium aged 16 from Irish youth team football, has made over 200 appearances for the Rams and was integral in their run to the Championship play-offs last term.
New boss Nigel Pearson is said to be keen to hold on to the 25-cap star as he looks to mount another assault on promotion this coming campaign.
