Report: Derby County paid Liverpool £1m loan fee for Harry Wilson

According to The Liverpool Echo, Derby County paid Liverpool a loan fee of £1 million for Harry Wilson.

Championship club Derby signed Wilson on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Good signing

Wilson is a very talented and promising young winger who will prove to be a good signing for Derby this season.

The youngster has played two times already in the Championship for the Rams this season.

The 21-year-old Wales international winger is only going to improve in the coming weeks and months working under Chelsea legend and Derby manager Frank Lampard.

Derby reportedly had to fight off a number of clubs in order to secure the services of Wilson on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The Scottish Sun claimed of interest from Rangers and Celtic in Wilson, while ESPN FC credited Aston Villa with interested in the Wales international winger – who earns £4,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
