Liverpool will demand £4 million for Andre Wisdom with Derby County leading the race to sign him this summer, the Echo reports.
Wisdom is on the brink of becoming an Austrian title winner with loan club Red Bull Salzburg, but is said to favour a return to English football next season with the Reds ready to sever their ties with the 23-year-old.
Wisdom moved to Liverpool as a teenager from Bradford City and this is his fourth temporary spell away from Anfield.
His first came at Derby during the 2013-14 campaign and the Echo reports the Rams are the current front-runners to sign the defender, ahead of a number of Championship clubs.
It is claimed that Gary Rowett’s side, who have again failed to gain promotion back to the Premier League, are not put off by Liverpool’s demands, despite their manager’s admission he will have to cut numbers this summer.
Derby were thought to want to strengthen at right-back this summer, although current options Cyrus Christie and Chris Baird recently triggered one-year extension options at Pride Park.

Having said that, Wisdom is equally comfortable at centre-back – a position for which he may have been earmarked by Rowett.
