According to the Daily Mail, Derby County are lining up a £6 million bid for West Bromwich Albion defender James Chester.
The Welshman is seeking assurances about his future at the Baggies this summer following a difficult first season at The Hawthorns.
He made just 14 appearances overall after making a move from Hull City last year, with most of those coming as a right-back.
He wants to play regularly as a centre back, having been a key performer in that position for Wales at Euro 2016.
Should that not be on offer, he may look to make a move elsewhere and Derby are reportedly one of the sides interested.
According to the Daily Mail, they are lining up a £6 million move for the defender, and he would be keen to link up with former manager Nigel Pearson.
Chester worked with Pearson during their time at Hull, with the defender developing into one of the Tigers’ key performers under his leadership.
They are not the only ones interested in his services though, with Swansea City also thought to be admirers after his performances in France.
