Derby County will reportedly wait until next week to make a decision over some potential new signings.
The Burton Mail has reported that decisions will be made over deals for Darren Bent and Tom Ince when a new manager is appointed by Derby County next week.
The Rams are on the hunt for a new boss following Steve McClaren’s sacking but the paper suggests that the club haven’t held off in terms of recruitment, producing a list which will be reviewed when the next manager is announced.
Bent would be a superb signing if the Rams can work out a long term agreement and someone who has the quality to make a real difference in attack.
A deal for Ince is now arguably more likely after Hull City were relegated from the Premier League last weekend.
There is still a chance that a team in the top flight could come in and make an offer for either player, but the form they both showed at the club last season is likely to be a big factor in their decision making.
Hopefully the Rams can make a good appointment early next week and the club can get cracking with deals for new players.
