Anthony Hudson is the surprise name on Derby County’s managerial shortlist.
Anthony Hudson
Derby County are considering appointing New Zealand manager Anthony Hudson, report The Sun.
Hudson, 35, has previous experience in British football, working with Tottenham’s reserve team, and as manager of Newport County.
He has also coached in the US, and for the Bahrain national side, before taking on the New Zealand job two years ago.

Derby have suspended current boss Nigel Pearson and placed Chris Powell in temporary charge.
The Rams have had a disappointing start to the season, winning only two of 11 games, with one of those coming under Powell.
The international break gives the club a chance to take their time to pick their next manager, although it is not really the best time to approach Hudson.
He is currently preparing his side for an international friendly against Mexico on Saturday, before a match against USA days later.
Another name in the frame to land the Derby job is former England boss Sam Allardyce, with the Rams listed by SkyBet at 7/2 to offer him his next job in management.
