Tom Lawrence’s Ipswich Town form has caught the eye of a string of Championship clubs, including Derby County and Norwich City – the Tractor Boys’ fierce rivals – according to the Daily Mail.
Lawrence, who is on loan at Portman Road from Leicester City, has scored two goals and assisted four for his temporary employers this season.

And this has reportedly alerted Derby and Norwich who, together with Reading, Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic, have enquired about the 22-year-old’s availability.
The report states that Lawrence’s versatility – he can play out wide and up front as well as a number 10 – is particularly attractive to prospective suitors.

Derby and Norwich will be keen to fine-tune their promotion chasing squads next month, with the Rams’ upturn in fortunes leaving them on the outskirts of a play-off place and Alex Neil’s side only three points behind them, in 10th position.
Neil’s counterpart Steve McClaren is still awaiting his first signing since his return to Pride Park, which fell between the two transfer windows.
Would Lawrence be a good signing for Derby County/Norwich City?
