Defender Hanley, who is 25 years of age, joined Newcastle from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail at the time to be worth £6 million.

The former Blackburn defender made only five starts for the Magpies in the Championship this season, scoring one goal in the process.
Injury problems had an affect on Hanley, who remains a defender good enough to play in the Championship on a regular basis.
If Derby and Wolves are aiming to push for the Championship playoffs next season, then the Newcastle defender would be a good signing.
Newcastle will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship.
