Derby County have reportedly agreed a deal to sign the Scunthorpe United winger.

According to a report from Sky Sports News, Derby County have agreed a deal to sign American-born winger Duane Holmes from League One side Scunthorpe United, as Frank Lampard continues his summer rebuild at Pride Park.
The 23-year-old is a right midfielder by trade, but he can also operate more centrally, and will provide new Rams boss Lampard with a further option across the middle of the park.
Holmes joined Scunthorpe United from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2016 and has gone on to chalk up 12 goals and seven assists in 93 appearances in all competitions.
Lampard has obviously seen something in the 23-year-old that makes him think he will go on to become a real top performer at the very highest level.

Whilst Derby have agreed a fee with Scunthorpe, personal terms are still yet to be discussed, whilst a medical has not yet been undertaken by the player.
And with just a couple of hours remaining until the transfer window slams shut, Derby had better get down to business sooner rather than later.
