Martelo could prove a low-risk gamble for Fulham.

The Deportivo La Coruna striker, Pedro Martelo, has proposals from Fulham and several unnamed clubs in his native Portugal, according to O Jogo.
Martelo has played his only senior football for Deportivo’s B team, but has yet to score in 13 appearances.
But the former Benfica youth team player has impressed on the international stage, where he has scored five goals in six games for Portugal’s Under-20s, and fired the winner as the Selecao’s U19s claimed European Championship success earlier this year.
And O Jogo reports that Martelo’s contract contains a termination clause of €1 million (around £900,000), making him a low-risk gamble for Fulham.
According to Transfermarkt, his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

Fulham’s only Portuguese player, Rui Fonte – who also had a spell at Benfica – is on a season-long loan to Lille.
