West Ham United have been rejected by Denis Suarez, according to a report.
The Sun has reported that Barcelona’s Denis Suarez has rejected the chance to join West Ham United.
Spanish outlet Sport claimed last week that West Ham were interested in signing the £60k-a-week midfielder [Silly Season].
The Hammers are willing to pay Barcelona around £20 million up front but, according to The Sun, the 25-year-old doesn’t fancy a move to East London.
The report adds that Suarez is quite content to stay at Camp Nou unless the Spanish giants greenlight a loan move to Arsenal.
Suarez played under Arsenal boss Unai Emery during his time at Sevilla and it seems like the Spanish magician is keen on a reunion, though Barcelona are reluctant to accept an initial loan proposal
The former Manchester City youth, who only has 18 months to run on his contract, has made just the two Primera Liga appearances for Ernesto Valverde’s side this season.
Sport also reported that there is a ‘good chance’ of him joining a Premier League side, so time will tell who wins the race.
