Leicester City winger Demarai Gray is reportedly wanted by Borussia Dortmund, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Sky Sports, Leicester City winger Demarai Gray has held a meeting with the club to discuss his future amid interest from Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund.

The Foxes swooped to land Gray from Birmingham City during the January transfer window in 2016, having proven himself in the Championship as one of English football’s top young talents.

Yet, since arriving at the King Power Stadium, Gray has struggled for consistent playing time, and whilst he notched one goal and three assists in the Premier League last term, he started just nine league games.

Gray, now 21, is understandably looking to play regular first-team football, and Sky Sports report that he has today held a meeting with Leicester to discuss possibly leaving the club this summer.

It’s noted that Borussia Dortmund, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in landing Gray this summer, and they have just a month of the transfer window left to tempt Leicester into a deal.

However, Leicester are understood to be reluctant to sell Gray, as they recognise he has a long-term contract at the King Power Stadium, and simply isn’t for sale this summer.

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare is understandably looking to keep Gray at the club, but with competition for places from the likes of Marc Albrighton, Riyad Mahrez and Tom Lawrence, Gray’s desire to move on and play regularly may convince him to leave.

It’s unclear just how much Gray would cost, but given his pace and dribbling ability, he would be a perfect addition for Everton or Spurs, who are lacking a little spark of pace in the final third, but the promised playing time may well dictate the winger’s decision.
