Report: Dele Alli to return for Tottenham Hotspur against Newcastle United

Tottenham Hotspur will face Newcastle United in the Premier League later this month.

According to The Times, Dele Alli will be back in action for Tottenham Hotspur against Newcastle United.

It has been reported that Alli will recover from his hamstring injury in time for Tottenham’s Premier League game against Newcastle at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 25.

Positive news for Tottenham Hotspur

Alli did not have a great season on a personal campaign in 2019-20, but the England international midfielder remains a key figure in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

The 23-year-old scores goals and creates chances, and Spurs fans will hope that the former Milton Keynes Dons star gets back to the level he was.

Challenging for Premier League title

Tottenham are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, as well as make a major impact in the Champions League.

Spurs kicked off their 2019-20 Premier League campaign with a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend, and will face Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the league this weekend.
