Manchester City’s Jason Denayer reportedly wants a permanent switch to Sunderland.

According to The Sun, defender Jason Denayer wants to stay at Sunderland permanently and complete a £10m move from Manchester City.
Denayer, 21, joined City from the JMG Academy in 2013, but spent the 2014/15 campaign out on loan at Celtic, and then went out on loan against last season, this time joining Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Denayer has still yet to make his debut for Manchester City, and with Pep Guardiola luring John Stones to the Etihad Stadium, Belgian centre back Denayer was sent out on loan for a third time, linking up with Sunderland on deadline day in August.
So far, Denayer – who has seven caps for Belgium – has only started three Premier League games for Sunderland, but he appears to be settling in well at the Stadium of Light.

The Sun report that Denayer is enjoying his football at Sunderland so much that he wants to complete a £10m permanent move to the Stadium of Light, and is tired of being loan out by City.
It’s claimed that Denayer now wants to settle down somewhere, preferably with Sunderland, but isn’t sure whether the Black Cats will definitely pursue a permanent deal just yet as they battle against the drop.

Any deal would cost £10m, which is a lot for Sunderland to be spending with their Premier League status insecure at best, meaning Denayer may have to wait until the end of his loan deal to find out his long-term future with the club.
The report notes that Arsenal were interested in Denayer over the summer but City wouldn’t sell to a Premier League rival, and the Belgian’s future may lie away from the Etihad Stadium as he chases first-team football.
