Lyon defender Castello Lukeba is stalling on a new deal with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur both interested.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are both keen on signing Lyon defender Castello Lukeba this summer.
That is according to a report from But! Football Club over in France, who claim that Lukeba is a wanted man.
It’s suggested that ‘big English clubs’ want Lukeba with Chelsea and Tottenham thought to be in the lead.
The interest is causing Lukeba to consider his future whilst Lyon have been trying to give him a new contract.
Lukeba is now described as being ‘reluctant’ to sign on the dotted line whilst there is a chance to move to the Premier League.
Lukeba is now entering the final two years of his Lyon contract and a departure is now becoming much more possible.
Whether Chelsea or Tottenham make a move remains to be seen but it looks like Lukeba has had his head turned by Premier League interest.

Lukeba was born in Lyon and came up through the ranks with his hometown club.
Lukeba has been with Lyon since the age of just eight and has progressed into becoming a first-team regular.
The defender has now played 68 times for Lyon’s first team, scoring four times in the process.
Lukeba will be appealing given that he is a left-footed centre back – a profile that has become very popular in the modern game.
The 20-year-old has impressed for Lyon and has also been compared to Josko Gvardiol by teammate Dejan Lovren.
The Daily Mail reported in May that Tottenham had sent scouts to watch Lukeba in action for Lyon against Strasbourg.
Lukeba found the net in that game but was then sent off, which you may have assumed would put Tottenham off.
Instead, Tottenham seem to still be interested and Lukeba would appear to fancy the move to London if it’s on offer this summer.
