Declan Rice is out of contract at West Ham United at the end of the season.

According to The Guardian, Declan Rice wants £30,000 per week as salary at West Ham United.
It has been reported that West Ham have offered the youngster a new deal worth around £15,000 per week.
However, the 19-year-old – who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder – is holding out for around twice that, claims The Guardian.
Progress
Rice has progressed well in recent months and has established himself as an important player in manager Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
With the contract of the teenager running out in June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.com, it is important that the Hammers hammer out a deal, or they will lose him for free next summer.
The 19-year-old’s versatility to play as a defender or as a defensive midfielder is an asset, and the Hammers should do whatever they can to keep hold of the teenager.

Praise
Even Pablo Zabaleta seems to have backed the idea of Rice staying at West Ham beyond next summer.
The 33-year-old Argentine right-back – who earns £75,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has suggested that the Hammers should hand the youngster a new deal.
Zabaleta told The Guardian about Rice: “He is young and still has room for improvement for sure. But he has the right ability and attitude to become one of the greatest players for West Ham.
“He is in the last year of his contract so West Ham need to think about his situation because, even though he is young, he looks so mature and is proving he can perform for the team.
“He is one of those young players you like to look after and help with all the information you can give him.”
