According to CBS Sports, Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin is set for talks with the club on Monday as he attempts to thrash out his future.
It’s claimed that Yedlin and his representatives will ‘conduct a formal meeting’ with club officials on Monday to decide the plan for the summer.
Teams in Europe allegedly want to sign Yedlin, and a departure is now considered ‘likely’ for the 26-year-old due to issues in the right back spot.
Javi Manquillo has just been given a new contract, Emil Krafth has featured recently and Valentino Lazaro could be signed permanently from Inter Milan.
Yedlin looks to be the odd man out, and it’s suggested that he could be used in swap deals as Newcastle look to strengthen in other areas.
Yedlin has just one year left on his deal, and with no new contract on the table yet, it looks like the Magpies are preparing for him to go.

The American international joined Newcastle in 2016 as Rafael Benitez lured him from Tottenham, and has now racked up more than 100 appearances for the club but has been gradually phased out.
Yedlin started in Wednesday’s 5-0 defeat at Manchester City, and having been slammed for his display, fans may not miss him if he does go.
