Aston Villa have terminated Yannick Bolasie’s loan deal.

Aston Villa have this afternoon confirmed that winger Yannick Bolasie has left the club to return to Everton, with his loan deal terminated.
Bolasie, 29, suffered a major knee injury in December 2016, keeping him out of action for more than a year before returning to Premier League action last season.
The DR Congo international struggled to make a real impact at Goodison Park last term, and was sent out on loan to Villa in August by Marco Silva.
Unfortunately, Bolasie hasn’t impressed with Villa either, and has found first-team football hard to come by under Dean Smith of late.
Bolasie’s Villa career is over, and there are varying reports about just what happened to trigger Bolasie’s return to Goodison Park.
According to The Telegraph, Villa boss Smith has decided to end Yannick Bolasie’s loan deal and send him back to Everton, with Villa realising that there was no chance of a permanent deal, so there was no point keeping him around.

Intriguingly though, The Guardian claim that Bolasie himself wanted to return to Everton, and Smith simply didn’t stand in his way.
Bolasie allegedly feels he can break back into the Everton team, but The Telegraph’s report states that the Toffees plan to loan him straight out to another club.
All eyes will now be on Everton to see exactly what they do with Bolasie, with the reports making his future very unclear.
