Ronald Koeman’s Everton side look set to make Davy Klaassen their first signing of the summer.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Davy Klaassen has agreed terms in principle with Everton.
The Toffees have been talking with the Dutch midfielder and have reportedly offered him agreeable personal terms.
All that now remains to be completed is finding a price which suits both Everton and Ajax.

The Toffees are believed to have made an opening offer of £22 million, but Ajax are looking for £26 million for the midfielder.
The two clubs are expected to meet a compromise in the near future, with Klaassen now looking likely to become Everton’s first signing of the summer.

Ronald Koeman’s side are known to be looking to upgrade their squad, as they aim to challenge for a top four spot next season.
Klaassen’s move will increase Everton’s options in attacking midfield, and the 24-year-old will arrive at Goodison Park in good form.
Klaassen has scored 20 goals and claimed 12 assists for Ajax this past season.
