Celtic are reportedly set to sign David Turnbull after all.

It’s the transfer saga that has had more twists and turns than the Nurburgring, and all inside a week, but Celtic appear to have got their man.
The Bhoys agreed a £3million deal for Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull last week, and looked set to secure his signature.
Celtic then released a statement claiming they couldn’t agree terms with Turnbull, and when Norwich City had a bid accepted earlier this week, the move appeared to be dead.
Somehow though, the move has been resurrected, and the Daily Record report that Turnbull is set to become Celtic’s first signing of the summer after his agent held new talks with Celtic’s Peter Lawwell this evening.
It’s believed that Turnbull is turning down a huge contract at Norwich to join Celtic, believing that the Bhoys represent the best move for his playing time rather than his bank balance.
Celtic will be delighted to have won the battle for the midfielder’s signature, though some fans may be reluctant to accept him immediately after such a topsy-turvy transfer saga.

Turnbull arrives as one of the top young Scottish talents, with the 19-year-old recording 16 goals from midfield last season in a stunning campaign.
Turnbull will now compete with the likes of Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie at Celtic, and will hope that he doesn’t regret his late U-turn.
