Celtic are reportedly set to sign the 19-year-old midfielder
The Daily Record has claimed that Celtic could wrap up the signing of David Turnbull today.
Motherwell released a statement on Wednesday revealing that they had agreed a fee with Celtic for the 19-year-old midfielder, who scored 15 times in 27 Premiership starts last season.
And The Record claims that Turnbull is due at Parkhead today to put the finishing touches on his £3 million transfer to Glasgow.
The report adds that he is set to sign a five-year contract with the Scottish Premiership champions.
This is a good signing for Celtic if and when it happens.
Turnbull is only 19 and has so much potential to get a lot better.
Scoring 15 goals at Motherwell is one hell of an achievement and, excitingly, he could score many more in a team like the Hoops, who have better support players.
