David Moyes is allegedly keen on the Celtic job this summer.

David Moyes looks on during the Premier League match between Burnley FC and Brighton & Hove Albion at Turf Moor on December 8, 2018 in Burnley, United Kingdom.

According to The Sun, David Moyes remains keen on the Celtic job – but is also eyeing up a potential move to China.

Celtic lost manager Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City last week, with the Northern Irishman completing a quickfire move to the King Power Stadium as Claude Puel’s replacement.

That left Celtic scrambling for a manager at a key point in the season, but they brought back ex-manager Neil Lennon until the end of the campaign to keep the ship chugging along.

Lennon will be in with a strong shout of landing the job permanently, but other candidates will be considered – and the Daily Mail noted last week that David Moyes is keen on the job.

Now, The Sun report that Moyes is still eyeing up the Celtic job, but has also sent feelers out to try and earn a move to the Chinese Super League this summer.

Moyes is keeping his options open it seems, and a money-spinning move to the Far East appears to be in his mind just as much as a return to Celtic is.

Moyes started his professional career as a defender with Celtic back in 1980, and a return to Parkhead would surely be appealing to the Scot if they wanted him this summer.

The 55-year-old has been out of management for almost a year now having left West Ham United at the end of last season, and it remains to be seen whether Celtic fancy bringing him back to Scotland.
