According to a report in the Daily Mail, West Ham United boss David Moyes intends to assess Reece Oxford in training, before deciding whether to sell him or not.

West Ham have loaned Oxford out to Borussia Monchengladbach, and the German side now want to snap up the defender.

However, Monchengladbach may not be able to keep hold of Oxford beyond January, as Moyes wants to recall the youngster.

Oxford was considered one of the brightest talents breaking through at West Ham, and he made his first-team debut as a 16-year-old, but he is yet to have a long run in the starting line-up.

If Moyes does decide to put Oxford up for sale, Monchengladbach and Red Bull Leipzig are both keen to take Oxford off West Ham’s hands, but they will have to pay more than the £6 million fee that has previously been reported.
