West Ham United manager David Moyes had hoped to keep Grady Diangana in his squad for next season, but he is set to join West Bromwich Albion instead, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that Moyes has reluctantly agreed to let the 22-year-old winger leave for West Brom, as he needs the money to bring in players in the summer transfer window.

The former Manchester United and Everton manager will now reportedly look to invest that money in defenders.

Sky Sports have claimed that West Brom will pay West Ham £12 million upfront for Diangana and a further £6 million in add-ons.

The report has added that the 22-year-old will undergo a medical at West Brom today, with the winger having spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at The Hawthorns.

Moving on

West Ham do have quite a few attacking players in their squad, and one can understand why the London club are willing to cash in on Diangana.

True, the winger did well for West Brom in the Championship last season, but he is still unproven in the Premier League, and £12m upfront is not a bad transfer fee.
