West Ham United have been linked with Portugal star Joao Mario in the January transfer window.

Reports from Football Italia yesterday claimed Mario had rejected a move to East London much to the disappointment of West Ham fans.
But less than 12 hours later, the same outlet released a report claiming the player had changed his mind and was now open to a loan move with West Ham having first option to buy the Euro 2016 winner.
Mario cost Inter Milan nearly £40 million after starring for Portugal in the Euros 18 months ago.
If he does join West Ham he will link up with compatriot and fellow Euro 2016 winner Jose Fonte in the East End.
