Sunderland manager David Moyes has been linked with the Scotland job.
According to a report in the Daily Star, David Moyes has told Sunderland’s board that he is fully committed to the job he has at the Stadium of Light.
Moyes has been linked with the Scotland job, with Gordon Strachan reportedly under pressure.
Scotland have struggled in World Cup qualification so far, and Moyes has emerged as a target for his country.
Although it is believed that the former Manchester United boss is keen to manage Scotland at one stage, he wants to stay loyal to Sunderland for now.
Sunderland have stuck by Moyes, despite a poor start to the season, and the 53-year-old is believed to be wanting to repay the Wearsiders’ faith.
Moyes has won just one of his first 11 matches at Sunderland, but he has reportedly been told he is not under pressure.
And Moyes is said to be happy at the Stadium of Light, as he aims to keep Sunderland in the Premier League.
