According to the London Evening Standard, David Moyes wants a summer rebuild at West Ham United after missing out on a new striker.
It’s claimed that the Hammers did look for a proper replacement for Sebastien Haller, but Moyes chose against splashing the cash.
He seemingly felt that nobody available was value for money, so preferred to keep the money in the bank and prepare for summer instead.
Moyes will certainly want another striker this summer, and he allegedly wants a rebuild of his squad despite a positive season to date.
Who could leave as part of Moyes’ rebuild? The likes of Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop could be at risk defensively, as could Ryan Fredericks.
The Hammers would surely listen to offers for Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini, whilst Felipe Anderson has no future at the London Stadium.

Moyes will of course hope that Declan Rice leaving the club isn’t part of this rebuild, with the midfielder key to West Ham’s hopes of progression.
Quality additions like Vladimir Coufal, Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen will be needed, but West Ham fans will be excited to hear this news after a fairly disappointing end to the January window.
