According to The Times, David Marshall and Stephen O’Donnell would both fancy signing for Celtic at the end of the season.
It’s claimed that O’Donnell would ‘jump’ at the chance of joining Celtic this summer, given that they could be in the market for a right back.
Jeremie Frimpong has gone to Bayer Leverkusen and Hatem Abd Elhamed has rejoined Hapoel Be’er Sheva, meaning Celtic do need to think about depth there.
O’Donnell, 28, did spend two years with Celtic between 2009 and 2011, and has since been a regular for Partick Thistle, Luton Town, Kilmarnock and Motherwell.
With 16 Scotland caps, O’Donnell should feature at the European Championships this summer, and he can sign for free with his Motherwell deal ending soon.
O’Donnell isn’t the only Scotland international keen on a move, as the report claims Derby County goalkeeper Marshall is ‘open’ to returning to Scotland.

Marshall, 35, came up through the Celtic ranks before leaving for Norwich City in 2007, and whilst he was heavily linked with returning to the Bhoys last summer, he joined Derby instead.
The veteran still has more than a year to run on his Derby deal, but with Celtic potentially needing another goalkeeper this summer, he could finally make a move back to Parkhead.
