Sheffield United’s David Brooks is reportedly set for Bournemouth.

According to the Daily Star, Sheffield United playmaker David Brooks was due to undergo a medical with Bournemouth today ahead of a £12million move.
Brooks, 20, started out his career with Manchester City, but left the club in 2014 after 10 years at the Etihad Stadium, with Sheffield United snapping him up.

The attacking midfielder had only made five appearances for the Blades before this past season, but caught the eye with three goals and four assists in 30 games under Chris Wilder last term.
Brooks’ displays earned him a first call-up for the Wales national team despite having previously represented England at youth level, and also saw him receive major Premier League interest.
The Daily Star now report that Bournemouth are set to sign Brooks in a £12million deal, with the youngster scheduled to undergo a medical today ahead of completing his move.

Sheffield United have been fighting to keep Brooks amid strong interest from top flight clubs, but their fight appears to be coming to an end this evening.
Brooks is now set to play the next stage of his career under Eddie Howe, and may be looking to feature prominently in a No. 10 role as he takes his first steps into the Premier League, whilst Blades boss Chris Wilder will be hoping to reinvest the money received into his first-team squad at Bramall Lane.
