According to FCInterNews, David Beckham is interested in signing Alexis Sanchez, who is said to be a target for Rafa Benitez at Everton.
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe Beckham has sent Sanchez an offer to play for his Major League Soccer side Inter Miami over Everton.
It was Inter Live who revealed that the Toffees are interested in signing the 32-year-old, who earns £123,000-a-week at the San Siro.
It was even said that a swap deal involving Cenk Tosun was an option, although unsurprisingly, the Italian giants were not interested.
Now, Beckham could be about to spoil Everton’s plans.
The former Manchester United and England superstar has already managed to bring Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi to Inter Miami.
Clearly, Beckham has the ability to lure world class names to the United States.
Hope for Everton in Alexis Sanchez pursuit

As significant as Beckham’s pulling power may be, Everton have hope.
FCInterNews add that Sanchez believes he still has plenty to offer in European football, and doesn’t want to settle down in the US just yet.
The 142-cap Chile international would be more than happy to stay at Inter Milan, or challenge himself in another of Europe’s top leagues.

By the sounds of it, Beckham will have to do some persuading if he is to get the former Arsenal marksman to Inter Miami.
In our view, signing an ageing forward isn’t exactly what Everton should be doing right now, following the James Rodriguez debacle.
However, if Benitez has his heart set on Sanchez, he will be pleased to hear that the South American wants to stay in Europe.
