According to Defensa Central, Leeds could sign Real Madrid wonderkid Miguel Gutiérrez if David Alaba moves to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Spanish news outlet claim that Real Madrid don’t really want to lose the 19-year-old right now, as he’s on the cusp of the first-team.
However, if Alaba arrives from Bayern Munich, Zinedine Zidane would gladly sanction a loan exit so the teenager can continue gaining experience.
After all, Alaba is a world-class footballer who can operate at left-back, centre-back or in midfield, so Gutiérrez’s game time would surely suffer.
However, that could benefit Leeds, who are interested in the 10-cap Spain Under-19 international.
Interestingly, José Mourinho wanted the Madrid-born left-back while he was at Tottenham, again according to Defensa Central.

In that respect, Gutiérrez is clearly doing something right over in the Spanish capital for both Marcelo Bielsa and Mourinho to notice him.
So, what is the likelihood that Alaba signs for Real Madrid?
Well, it seems very likely.

Sky Sports revealed last month that the Austrian will be joining Real Madrid on a five-year deal when his contract with Bayern Munich expires this June.
On that note, there’s a good chance that Gutiérrez ends up in the Premier League, if Defensa Central are to be trusted.
