England and Southampton coach Dave Watson as well as Sammy Lee have no plans to join Everton.

According to The Telegraph, Southampton and England goalkeeper coach Dave Watson isn’t planning to follow Ronald Koeman to Everton – and neither is Sammy Lee.
Koeman is allegedly set to be confirmed as the new Everton manager any day now, with the Dutchman set to bring his two-year stay on the South Coast to an end.
The Telegraph’s report claims that a compensation deal worth around £5m has been agreed between the two clubs, with some haggling as Koeman wanted to bring two coaches to Goodison Park with him.
His brother Erwin is heading to Merseyside, as is Saints fitness coach Jan Kluitenberg – but two Southampton coaches won’t be making the move North.
It’s claimed that coach Sammy Lee – a Liverpool-born coach with a long association with Everton’s rivals Liverpool both as a player and as a coach – won’t be joining Koeman as he intends to stay at Southampton.
Additionally, goalkeeper coach Dave Watson allegedly has no plans to join Koeman at Goodison Park either, opting to stay with Lee and the Saints.
Watson, 43, is one of the most highly-rated goalkeeping coaches around and also works for the England national team alongside his duties with Southampton.
Often credited for helping develop a host of top goalkeepers like Joe Hart, Jack Butland and Fraser Forster, Watson would have been valuable to Everton given that they’re expected to sign a new goalkeeper following Tim Howard’s departure.
Watson won’t be making the move though, and whilst Kluitenberg and Erwin Koeman are heading to Merseyside, Ronald Koeman must now assess his options as he looks to form a coaching staff at Everton.
