Danny Rose is reportedly aiming to be fit for Tottenham’s Champions League game against Real Madrid.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose is hoping to make his return to action in the Champions League clash with Real Madrid later this month.
Rose, 27, has been out of action for over eight months now, having suffered a knee injury against Sunderland at the end of August, enduring a long and frustrating rehabilitation.
The left back had become first choice for club and country thanks to his development under Mauricio Pochettino, and he will now be looking to return to that spot before the end of 2017.

The Sun now report that Rose is aiming to be back available for the upcoming Champions League clash against Real Madrid on the 17th of October, when Spurs travel to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Whilst Tottenham will be glad to have Rose back, there certainly isn’t the same level of buzz about his possible return as there was over the summer – for very good reason.
Firstly, Rose told The Sun that he was somewhat disgruntled at Spurs, as he felt underpaid and wanted a move back to the north in the near future, sparking rumours of a possible switch to Manchester United.

Tottenham fans were unsurprisingly less than impressed with those comments, and Rose’s replacement has more than stepped up to the plate so far this season.
Welshman Ben Davies has notched two goals and two assists in just six Premier League outings this season, adding a major attacking threat to his game this term, meaning Rose could be frustrated upon his return to action.
Davies now appears to be Tottenham’s first-choice left back, and deserves to keep his place ahead of Rose, with Pochettino almost certainly unwilling to throw Rose in at the Bernabeau anyway – but sitting behind Davies may end up being something that Rose has to get used to.
