Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has been pushing for signings this summer.

Spurs have made an opening offer for Ndombele of Lyon, but it falls considerably short of the French side’s asking price.
Lyon want £80 million for Ndombele, and Levy now realises that he is under pressure to get a deal done quickly.
Tottenham are planning to step up their chase of the French midfielder now, as other sides circle.
Soccer Link claims that both Manchester United and Juventus have agreed contractual terms with Ndombele, although they too have not yet reached agreeable terms over the fee with Lyon.
If Levy does now wrap up a transfer in an efficient manner, it will be a cause for celebration for Tottenham fans.

The French report claims that Levy has carefully planned this transfer move, to give Tottenham the best chance of getting hold of the in-demand international.
Spurs have failed to make a signing in over a year and a half and are yet to make an impact this summer, despite Mauricio Pochettino’s desire to sort out his side’s transfer business early this summer.
Ndombele would be a great addition to Tottenham’s squad for next term, and would strengthen their midfield considerably.
