Report: Daniel Levy really doesn’t want £110,000-a-week star to leave Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy wants Heung-Min Son to stay with his side and plans to offer him a new contract, the Daily Telegraph report.

Son, who is currently on a £110,000-a-week contract with Spurs, has two years left to run on his current deal.

And Levy wants to tie Son down for the future before interest starts building in him.

The Tottenham forward has been in wonderful form this term, and clubs are sure to queue up to take him, if they can land him on a cut price deal.

But Levy wants to avoid a situation where Spurs are forced to sell and is now said to be planning to offer Son a pay-rise to keep him around.

If the Tottenham forward does commit to staying it will be a major boost for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Son remains one of the most dangerous attackers in the Premier League and his partnership with Harry Kane this term has been absolutely deadly.
