Tottenham Hotspur have an extremely bright future ahead of them.

According to a report from the Evening Standard, Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy is furious with City Hall and Haringey council over what he perceives to be a lack of support shown by them concerning the funding of the club’s £750 million new stadium.
Tottenham are expected to move into their new 61,000 capacity arena for the start of the 2018/19 season, as they attempt to force their way into Europe’s elite band of clubs.
Levy, however, is far from happy with what he believes has been a lack of backing from key figures amongst the local community.
And the Evening Standard have run an exclusive report regarding an email that the Tottenham chief sent to Haringey council leader Claire Kober and Simon Cooper – the Mayor’s Head of Sport.
The Standard report that Levy wrote:
“THFC as the main economic driver of North Tottenham needs to be given the confidence to continue its £800 million investment generating 2000 jobs and it needs to be this week. Actions speak louder than words and the next few days will tell how serious the public sector is in honouring its support for this massive regenerative project in one of the most deprived wards in London.”

Spurs fans will be desperate for the start of the 2018/19 season to roll around, and will be dreading playing their Premier League home games at Wembley next term, after their recent struggles at the home of the England national team.
And hopefully by that time, Tottenham would have garnered the support from the local community, and its’ leading figures, that Levy believes the club deserves.
