Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy appears to have got his wish, after the Daily Mail has claimed that Premier League games will be played at home grounds if the league does return.

The Daily Mirror has reported that Tottenham chief Levy has been one of the most vocal critics of the initial plan to restart play at neutral venues.

It was originally thought that only clubs near the bottom of the table wanted to keep home advantage, but Tottenham also were apparently not keen on the idea of taking on opposition sides at neutral grounds.

And it seems that the Premier League have now been forced into a re-think.

Levy could well be satisfied by the new plans, as they reportedly green light Tottenham being able to play home games, even though no fans will be in attendance.

If Tottenham do return to action this term then they will be battling to take a top four place.

Spurs are currently well short of Chelsea, but they will have the likes of Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane fit and available again, should play return and that makes Jose Mourinho’s options look much stronger.
