According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy wants to appoint Brendan Rodgers as his new manager.
Rodgers is in charge of Leicester City at the moment, and Levy reportedly wants him to manager Spurs next season and beyond.
The report has added that fellow Tottenham executives are still not happy that the former Liverpool manager turned them down nine years ago, and that Levy is trying to persuade them to change their mind over the 48-year-old.
Levy is reportedly a long-term admirer of the former Celtic boss and has made him his number one managerial target.
Brendan Rodgers to Tottenham Hotspur?
Rodgers has been brilliant for Leicester, who narrowly missed out on the Premier League top four last season.

The Foxes are doing well again this campaign and could finish in the Champions League places.
If that happens, then it is hard to see Rodgers leaving Leicester for Spurs this summer, as he would surely want to be the manager who leads the Foxes in the Champions League.
Tottenham could also end up in the Premier League top four this season.
Another manager Tottenham are looking at, according to The Sun, is Nuno, but the Wolverhampton Wanderers boss has said that he is committed to the Wanderers.
The Sun quotes Nuno as saying: ”I have a contract. It is my decision to sign a contract and that is what I want to say. When I make a decision like that there is no doubts in my mind. There are no doubts at all.”
