Leeds United continue to be linked with Swansea City winger Daniel James.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Swansea City winger Daniel James wants a move to Leeds United today – and the Whites are confident that they will meet his wage demands.
Leeds secured a second signing of the January transfer window on Tuesday, snapping up teenage Polish midfielder Mateusz Bogusz from Ruch Chorzow.
Bogusz joins fellow new arrival Kiko Casilla at Elland Road, and Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping to bolster his promotion-chasing side with one more addition.
Swansea winger James has been linked with the club for weeks now, but no deal has been struck between the two clubs, meaning the saga is heading into the final day of the transfer window.
The Yorkshire Evening Post now report that James is keen on a move to Leeds, and the Whites are willing to pay £5million plus add-ons to lure him to Elland Road.
Swansea are so far standing firm, but Leeds remain hopeful of agreeing a fee today, and believe that the winger’s wage demands shouldn’t be a problem.

It all rests on an agreement between the two clubs, and with 18 months left on his deal, Swansea may well be tempted to cash in now, when his value will arguably be at its highest before he enters the final year of his deal.
James, 21, has flourished under Graham Potter this season and scored against Birmingham City on Tuesday night, so it’s understandable that Swansea aren’t willing to part with the winger – but he appears to be keen on the move, and that’s part of the battle already won for Leeds.
