The Brazilian is reportedly on Liverpool’s radar this summer.

According to a report from the Independent, Dani Alves is a potential option for Liverpool this summer, following Nathaniel Clyne’s recent injury.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is obviously Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice right-back, but if the young Englishman suffers a long-term injury, the Reds will have a real problem.
And Alves, 36, would be a really smart acquisition. He has won pretty much all there is to win in the game, with nine league titles and three Champions League trophies to his name during his distinguished career this far.
The Independent claims that the 115-capped Brazil international could be an option for Liverpool, with his winning mentality and experience in playing at the very highest level proving to be an attractive prospect for the Merseyside outfit.
It is claimed, however, that Alves’s exorbitant wage demands could prove problematic for the Reds.

He is available on a free transfer, however, so it might just be worth the outlay on wages for Liverpool.
The Brazilian is a truly top class performer, and Alexander-Arnold would surely be able to learn from his experience and know-how.
Whether Liverpool will be prepared to match his demands, however, remains to be seen.
