West Bromwich Albion loanee Dwight Gayle is set to be offered a permanent move away from Newcastle United this summer.

Gayle swapped St James’ Park for The Hawthorns in the summer and has made a promising start to life with the Baggies, scoring three goals in five games for Darren Moore’s men.
He caught the eye in his most recent appearance as he scored a stunning brace over Stoke City. And it appears that he has caught the attention of the big-spending clubs in China.

The report adds that Gayle could be tempted to leave the Magpies for the lucrative offer, which is perhaps hardly a surprise given how his time on Tyneside has gone.
He was superb in Newcastle’s promotion-winning season, but struggled at the highest level. It is somewhat debatable whether he got enough of a chance to impress in the top flight – many would argue that he has – and he may be more than willing to seek a fresh challenge.
And if the potential terms of a deal is something that Gayle prioritises when considering his next move, then it is difficult to imagine that he will not jump at the chance to make the move to Asia next summer.
