According to the Daily Telegraph, Crystal Palace could get their wish, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s loan away from Chelsea is becoming increasingly likely in January.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson has already confirmed that he wants to snap up Loftus-Cheek, but doing a deal did look problematic.

Loftus-Cheek wanted to stay and prove a point at Chelsea by breaking into their first-team.

However, his chances have been limited so far, and the Telegraph suggest that a loan move could be appealing in January.

Palace are sure to be an option for the England international if he does become available.

The Eagles took Loftus-Cheek on loan last season, and he was highly impressive.

Hodgson’s side have missed Loftus-Cheek’s creativity and drive this season, but it seems that Palace may well have a chance to land the attacking midfielder again in a few months’ time.
