Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is said to be a big fan of the Bournemouth striker.

Crystal Palace want to sign Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe in January, according to the Sun.
A senior Palace source is alleged to have told the newspaper that the Eagles feel £15 million would represent good money for a player who is currently fourth choice at Bournemouth.
Afobe, of whom Palace boss Roy Hodgson is said to be a big fan from his time with England, has scored 10 goals from 30 Premier League starts since his £12 million move from Wolverhampton Wanderers 22 months ago.

However, Callum Wilson’s return to fitness and form, coupled with the summer signing of Jermain Defoe from Sunderland, has seen Afobe fall even further behind Josh King in the Cherries’ pecking order.
Palace failed to add to their striking options during the summer transfer window and were made to pay when Christian Benteke joined Connor Wickham on the sidelines in recent months.

And the addition of London-born Afobe, who now represents DR Congo after being capped by England Under-21s, would leave the Eagles better equipped to fight off relegation in the second half of this season.
Would Bournemouth’s Afobe be a good signing for Crystal Palace?
