The Serbian looks set to replace outgoing Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch.

Midfielder Luka Milivojevic looks set to become Crystal Palace’s third transfer window recruit after the Eagles agreed an £11 million fee with Greek champions Olympiacos, according to the Guardian.

Palace were said to be closing in on the Serbian’s signing last week, only for the Daily Mail to report that the deal had stalled.

The report claimed an enquiry was subsequently lodged for Lille’s Ibrahim Amadou as a potential alternative to Milivojevic, who was initially behind Yann M’Vila on Palace’s shortlist.

However, it appears as though Sam Allardyce’s relegation battlers are back on the 25-year-old’s trail, hours after capturing Sunderland left-back Patrick van Aanholt, who becomes the club’s second winter arrival after Leicester City’s Jeffrey Schlupp.

Several English sides are said to have been keen on Milivojevic, including the Eagles’ London rivals West Ham United (Daily Star).

However, Milivojevic instead looks set to replace Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch, who is joining Reading on loan according to HITC Sport sources.
