Crystal Palace are reportedly plotting a bid for Celtic’s Jozo Simunovic.

According to the Daily Record, Crystal Palace are lining up an £8million move for Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic during this month’s transfer window.
The Eagles have turned their season around under Roy Hodgson, but may still need additions during the transfer window to secure their Premier League status.
The injury to defender Scott Dann – which could rule him out for the rest of the season – means that another centre back may be near the top of Hodgson’s wish list this month.

Now, the Daily Record report that Hodgson is in fact lining up a move for a new defender, with Celtic’s Jozo Simunovic now a top target.
It’s claimed that Palace will rival Burnley for Simunovic’s signature, with a fee of £8million mentioned in order to lure him away from Celtic Park this month.
Signed as Virgil van Dijk’s replacement back in 2015, Simunovic left Dinamo Zagreb for Celtic and endured a difficult first season in Scotland, almost leaving for Torino in 2016.

However, Simunovic has largely turned his Celtic career around, and has impressed under Brendan Rodgers despite lingering concerns over his displays in Europe.
Now a Bosnian international, Simunovic may follow Van Dijk in making a move to England – and Palace will hope that they can beat off Burnley in the race for his signature this month.
