According to The Mirror, Crystal Palace are lining up a £4m move to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason – but chairman Daniel Levy wants £8m for him.

Fans may want to see a new striker brought in, but it seems that Pardew is looking to raid a London rivals for another midfielder – despite already having the likes of Yohan Cabaye, Mile Jedinak and James McArthur.
The Mirror report that Pardew has set his sights on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason, and is preparing a £4m raid for the England international.

The 24-year-old has come up through the ranks at Spurs, and after a host of loan spells at Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Millwall, Lorient and Swindon Town, he finally broke into the Tottenham first-team under current manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Last term was difficult for Mason though, as Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele established themselves as Pochettino’s first-choice pairing in central midfielder, leaving Mason on the sidelines.

Some Spurs believe Mason needs to be replaced in order for the club to progress, and now he could be sold to a Premier League rival – if they manage to meet chairman Daniel Levy’s asking price.
It’s claimed that whilst Palace are ready to offer £4m for Mason, Levy wants £8m – and the midfielder will only leave the club for the right move despite being made surplus to requirements under Pochettino.
