Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are keen on snapping up Wilfried Zaha but the winger is now considering a huge new deal at Crystal Palace.
That is according to a report from The Guardian, who claim that Zaha has been offered a new four-year deal at Palace.
It’s stated that Zaha is being offered around £200,000-a-week to stay at Selhurst Park.
That would make Zaha the highest-paid player in Palace history.
Zaha isn’t just about money though; that’s why he is rejecting a £9million-a-year deal from Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.
It’s understood that Palace’s offer is the most lucrative on the table for Zaha but he wants more than just money.
Zaha has concerns about Palace’s managerial situation and their lack of real progress in the Premier League.
Zaha wants to play in the Champions League and that just isn’t going to happen with Palace.
Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, Roma and Marseille are all understood to have shown an interest in signing Zaha.
The Ivorian’s contract expires this summer and he will soon be able to leave for absolutely nothing.

HITC View: Wilfried Zaha faces tricky decision amid Arsenal interest
Zaha has been a Palace hero over the years.
The 30-year-old has now played a staggering 455 games for Palace, racking up 89 goals and 76 assists for the club.
His one attempt to move away from Selhurst Park didn’t work out as he managed just four appearances for Manchester United.
Zaha could continue to build on his Palace legacy by committing to them for the rest of his career.
Starting and retiring as a Palace player would put Zaha on the top tier of Eagles icons.
Yet this also feels like Zaha’s last chance to make a big move and play in Europe.
Arsenal could really appeal Zaha – and not just because he could stay in London.
Zaha told Jamie Carragher in 2019 that he grew up supporting Arsenal alongside his family, but took a step back after joining United in 2013.
Zaha’s brother Judicael was also quoted in 2019 as saying the winger dreams of wearing the famous red and white shirt.
A 2019 move failed to materialise but if Arsenal do make a firm offer this summer, Zaha may well snub Palace’s offer to push for a Gunners move.
